Participants needed for research on digital technology for older adults
A team of researchers, artists, and engineers from McMaster and University of Guelph need your help in developing new tech that will help seniors access arts and craft programs from their own home. If you are age 60+, consider helping with this worthy initiative.
Volunteers (aged 60 or older) will be taking part in a study called “Direct [Message]: Digital Access to Artistic Engagement.” When participating in this interactive study, participants will be asked to:
- Tell researchers about experiences of arts/crafts, creativity and digital media/technology in everyday life
- Participate in art/craft activities on your digital device
- Try out different digital arts applications
- Imagine and help design the basic features of an easy to use arts technology application
